About

Annette Wilson - Wellbeing Coach, Mindfulness Teacher & Holistic Healthcare specialist

My name is Annette and I can help you to take life changing action to improve your health and wellbeing!

It's a daily privilege to work with so many incredible people who have experienced diverse challenges in life, and who welcome support for their transition to embrace all life can offer them through wellbeing coaching, mindfulness and complementary healthcare.

I have been working in holistic healthcare for over 25 years, after starting a family prompted me to change career and embrace a whole different world. Holistic Healthcare has become a real passion - as I've learned more about how our incredible mind and body work in union to support our health it has only continued to inspire me - both in my own choices and to try to help other people make small sustainable changes to improve their wellbeing. I'm passionate about nature and getting outdoors, eating healthily and staying active, volunteering and working with my local community.

In 2022, I completed a MSc in Mindfulness Studies with Aberdeen University, and my research project - Meeting Menopause with Compassion - really consolidated my own personal motivation to bring whatever skills, resources and tools I have gathered throughout my life to help others who perhaps feel lost, isolated or overwhelmed. Menopause can be a challenging time for many, but it can also be an opportunity for positive change. All my work is underpinned by compassionate and inclusive values - treating every person I meet with respect, open acceptance and offering confidential and nurturing care and service.

Now I teach mindfulness in my local community and offer wellbeing coaching in addition to my ongoing love for holistic therapies and my treatment room.

I am a Fellow of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) and fully qualified and insured to practise. You can see my FHT profile here

Pond Treatment room

Situated to the west of Edinburgh (near the village of Ratho), The Pond is a tranquil garden treatment space where Annette offers reflexology, massage and reiki treatments as well as face to face coaching and mindfulness.

"I have had the pleasure of being treated by Annette for a number of years - through stress, grief and pregnancy. My treatments give me an immediate impact - relief and calm resulting in better sleep and aches and pains relief, but also a longer term support on mindset and calm. I cannot recommend highly enough the benefits it brings"
